Get to Know Me

Michael Slate is practically a Palm Springs native. His love affair with the desert has been in overdrive since moving to the Coachella Valley 2001. Although born and raised in a small Texas town, home is where the heart is, and Michael’s thrives in this beautiful California desert.
 
Michael found his start in real estate in 2013. Before becoming an agent, Michael worked in Palm Springs’ busiest locally-owned restaurants, where he was exposed to the community on a daily basis. During this period, Michael carved out relationships with many local personalities, so when it came time to make the jump into real estate, the transition was seamless.
 
Michael understands one thing very well: Living in the desert isn’t just a stroll through downtown; it’s a lifestyle. From the perfectly positioned swimming pool to having the hot tip on a hidden bar, Palm Springs is all about the experience. Now with hundreds of homes sold, Michael relies on his experience and a skill set grounded in impeccable communication to fuel his momentum and create success for his clients.
 
In addition to being one of the desert’s top producers, Michael has spoken on several panels across Southern California, giving his real estate secrets away to the most eager in the room. He has a podcast called The Struggle is Really, Really Real. Microcontent can be found on his dynamic social media pages, and full-length videos are available for streaming on YouTube. Between Michael’s devotion to his clients, wife, and five kids ranging in ages 4, 6. 14, 20, and 21... life is never dull.
